FCS Connect is for people living with familial chylomicronemia syndrome (FCS). It is designed to help you understand more about FCS and provides information to help you effectively manage you condition.
FCS Connect has been developed by Akcea Therapeutics in collaboration with FCS patients, to help ensure the information it provides is of value for FCS patients.
With FCS Connect, features include:
• Alert functionality for notifying contacts when you are going to hospital
• Set, track and manage your own daily and weekly fat intake
• Emergency medical card for healthcare professionals
• Record pancreatic incidents
• Offline browsing and searching of FCS content relevant to you, family, friends and colleagues
FCS Connect is not intended to diagnose FCS or provide advice on medicines, as this is the responsibility of the FCS patient’s healthcare professionals.
